Pricing & Credits
How billing works at Dr.Post: plans, credits, the cost of each operation, and how to track your usage.
Dr.Post works on a credit-allowance subscription model: your subscription renews a monthly credit allowance, and each piece of work the AI team performs for you consumes a defined amount of credits. This page is the official reference for how billing works and how much each operation costs.
This page is an integral part of our Terms of Service. If you have any questions, talk to us directly on WhatsApp — just ask.
1. Plans
We offer plans with different credit allowances. Each plan entitles you to a predefined monthly credit allowance, renewed every month (Section 2) — the larger the plan, the larger the allowance. We may, at our discretion, apply discounts and promotions that make each credit proportionally cheaper across different allowance plans. The allowance is yours to distribute as you prefer: more creations and fewer revisions (or vice versa), more trend research, more analyses, etc.
- Contracting and prices: the current plans — prices, allowances, and conditions — are presented at the time of contracting, and may also appear on the website and be discussed in the conversation with the human team. Billing can be monthly or annual; the conditions and advantages of annual contracting are presented at the time of contracting.
- Currency and fees: prices are presented in the currency indicated at the time of contracting (as a rule, Brazilian Reais — BRL). Exchange rates and fees from your payment method may apply depending on your country (Terms of Service, Section 6.9).
- Price changes: follow Section 6.6 of the Terms — for active subscribers, changes are communicated at least 30 days in advance and take effect from the next renewal.
- Free plan: it is not offered publicly and, when offered, it is offered as a courtesy, as a way to get to know the Service, and may be changed, limited, suspended, or discontinued at any time (Terms, Section 6.10).
- Custom plans: if no plan fits your case, talk to us on WhatsApp — we can evaluate a specific configuration.
2. How credits work
- Monthly renewal: your credit allowance is restored to the full amount of your plan once a month, on your subscription’s anniversary date. Example: if you subscribed on the 10th, your credits renew on the 10th of every month (if a month has no corresponding day, the renewal happens on the last day of the month). This applies to all plans — on the annual plan, you pay once a year, but your credits renew month by month, in exactly the same way.
- Credits do not accumulate: unused credits are not carried over to the following month. Each cycle, you start again with your plan’s full allowance. This applies to all credits, including top-ups (see item 6).
- Credits have no monetary value: credits are not money; they cannot be transferred to another account or converted into cash.
- Consumption is final: credits consumed by work actually performed (even if you decide not to use the result) are not restored — except in the case of a proven platform failure (work charged but not delivered), in which case the corresponding credits are restored (see Section 6 and the Terms of Service, Section 6.7).
- If you run out of credits: content production pauses until the next renewal — or you can upgrade your plan at any time (Section 5).
- Credit top-ups (one-off): if you need extra credits within a cycle, talk to support on WhatsApp. Top-ups are handled exclusively with human assistance (not self-service); the current prices and conditions are presented during the support conversation, before payment. Top-up credits are valid only until your current cycle’s renewal — the expiration is always communicated before purchase. In most cases, a plan upgrade is more cost-effective than recurring top-ups.
- Autonomous consumption: the AI team works autonomously, in accordance with the strategy and calendar you approved — researching, planning, producing, revising, and sending messages — and credits are consumed as that work is performed, according to the table in Section 3, and not only when you ask for something in the conversation. Your approval of the strategy and calendar is your standing instruction for the corresponding production. This is the service’s default behavior (Terms, Section 6.2).
3. Cost of each operation
The table below lists the credit cost of each type of work. The effective value of each credit depends on your plan and the contracted conditions. These values may be adjusted over time, always with an update to this page; for active subscribers, relevant changes follow the advance notice set out in the Terms (Section 6.6).
Content
| Operation | Credits |
|---|---|
| Creation of a complete post (copy + image + quality review) | 90 |
| Creation of a complete carousel (copy + multiple images + quality review) | 180 |
| Creation of a complete story or reel | 75 |
| Post revision (at your request) | 75 |
| Story or reel revision (at your request) | 75 |
| Carousel revision (at your request) | 95 per block of up to 3 revised images (1–3 images = 95; 4–6 images = 190; and so on) |
| Adjustment/instruction on planned content | 1 per applied instruction |
Note on carousel revisions: revising 4 or more images of a carousel (190+ credits) costs more than creating a new carousel (180). In those cases, it may be worth requesting a recreation of the piece from scratch, already incorporating all your requests — just say so in the conversation.
Brand, strategy, and research
| Operation | Credits |
|---|---|
| Brand analysis (Brand DNA — website + social media) | 80 per analysis performed |
| Monthly strategy generation | 10 |
| Strategy revision (at your request) | 10 per revision |
| Weekly calendar generation (each new calendar) | 5 |
| Trend research (when new research is needed — recent results are reused at no cost) | 10 |
Conversation and publishing
| Operation | Credits |
|---|---|
| WhatsApp conversation — per interaction (your message + the team’s reply) | based on the processing used — minimum of 2 (see explanation below) |
| Messages sent on the team’s initiative within the conversation window (deliveries, reminders, notices) | 0 (free) |
| Re-engagement message outside WhatsApp’s 24-hour window, on our initiative (Terms, Section 5.3) | 1 |
| Connecting a social network (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn) | 10 |
| Publishing a post (scheduled or on request) | 1 |
| Publishing a carousel (scheduled or on request) | 2 |
How the conversation is billed — understanding tokens
The conversation with the team is billed based on the processing it actually uses, measured in tokens, with a minimum of 2 credits per interaction. For the vast majority of conversations, the minimum is all you pay. Here is the full explanation:
What are tokens?
All artificial-intelligence work is measured in tokens — small pieces of text that the AI reads and writes. A token corresponds, on average, to a fragment of a word: “marketing” becomes 2 or 3 tokens; a short sentence, around 10 to 20; a full page of text, a few hundred. Photos, audio, and documents are also converted into tokens when the team analyzes them — and images tend to “weigh” considerably more than text.
How an interaction’s consumption is calculated
In each interaction, the team does two things: it reads (your message, the recent conversation history, and the context needed to respond well — your brand, your calendar, the materials you sent) and it writes (the reply you receive and the internal work to get there). The interaction’s consumption is the total of tokens read + written. That is why a simple question consumes little, while a request involving many materials or research consumes more.
Calculation example
- “Can you approve tomorrow’s post?” → the team reads your message and the calendar context, and writes a short reply. Low consumption.
- Sending 8 photos of your product and asking for a complete analysis with suggestions → the team analyzes each photo, consults your brand, and writes a detailed report. Consumption many times higher.
How tokens become credits
We convert the interaction’s total tokens into credits using a single token conversion rate — the same amount of tokens costs the same amount of credits on any plan (what changes between plans is the price of each credit, as explained at the opening of this section). Every interaction costs a minimum of 2 credits — and that minimum already covers normal day-to-day conversation: questions, approvals, copy adjustments, simple requests. Only when the processing exceeds what the minimum covers is the difference charged, and it appears on your statement identified as “conversation usage”.
Example of tokens translated into credits
- Common interaction (question, approval, adjustment): fits within the minimum → 2 credits, and nothing more.
- Interaction with twice the processing the minimum covers → ~4 credits (2 from the minimum + 2 of conversation usage).
- A heavy analysis job, with ten times the minimum’s processing → ~20 credits, always itemized on your statement.
What is never charged in the conversation
- Several messages sent in quick succession count as a single interaction (guaranteed 1-second window — a single minimum). This applies, for example, when you forward several messages at once or send 3 photos at once.
- Messages on the team’s initiative within the conversation window — content deliveries, notices, and reminders — are free (outside the 24-hour window, only the 1-credit re-engagement message applies, as per the table above).
- Interactions that fail due to our error are not charged, and the processing of the failure is absorbed by us.
Want to check? Ask “what consumed my credits?” right in the conversation (Section 4) and receive the detailed statement.
4. How to track your usage
You don’t need a dashboard or a login: ask directly on WhatsApp. Examples:
- “How many credits do I have left?”
- “How much did I spend this month?”
- “What consumed my credits?”
The team replies with your current balance, the cycle’s usage summary, and the date of the next renewal. This page is the public reference for operation costs; your account’s detailed statement is always available in the conversation.
5. Upgrade, downgrade, and renewal
- Mid-cycle upgrade: you immediately pay the amount of the new plan you chose; the new plan’s credits are credited to your account right away; from the next renewal onward, billing becomes the new plan’s amount. No retroactive prorated charges (Terms, Section 6.5).
- Downgrade: takes effect from the next renewal (new price and new allowance). There is no refund of the difference and no retroactive removal of credits in the current cycle.
- Automatic renewal: subscriptions renew automatically (monthly or annual) until canceled.
6. Payment failure and cancellation
- Declined payment: your account enters a payment-pending state. Production of new content is paused, but human support will be able to help you, and the conversation with the team may continue to work temporarily. Once payment is regularized, everything returns to normal and your credits are restored.
- Cancellation: you can cancel at any time through the payment portal (immediate effect on the renewal) or by sending an email to suporte@drpost.ai — by email, at least 10 business days in advance of the renewal you wish to avoid (Terms, Section 18.1). Access remains until the end of the already-paid period — on annual plans, this includes the monthly credit renewals until the end of the contracted period. Upon termination of the subscription, any remaining credits expire.
- Refunds upon cancellation: cancellation does not give rise to any refund, in whole or in proportion, of amounts already paid, nor for unused credits — access and credit renewals remain until the end of the contracted period (Terms, Section 18.1). Alternatively, for contracts of a period longer than monthly (for example, annual plans), you may request immediate termination with restitution of 60% of the amount proportional to the cycles not yet started — a compensatory penalty of 40%, which is not cumulated with any other charge on the same grounds. The cycle in progress is deemed enjoyed (the allowance is made available in full at the start of each cycle), and monthly plans are month-to-month contracts, with no restitution of the cycle in progress. The option must be exercised together with the cancellation request or within 10 business days of it — and always before the end of the contracted period (Terms, Section 18.1.c).
- Credit refunds due to our failure: if an operation consumes credits and the work is not delivered due to a proven platform error, the corresponding credits are restored — contact support via suporte@drpost.ai within 7 (seven) days of the occurrence, a window that allows our team to investigate while the technical records are still available (Terms, Section 6.7).
7. Payment processing
We do not store full payment data. Card payments are processed by specialized, licensed partners — including, where applicable, authorized resellers (Merchant of Record), in which case the sale and billing are carried out by that partner, under its purchase terms (Terms, Section 6.4) — in certified environments (PCI-DSS standard); your full card details do not pass through our servers. Methods such as Pix and bank transfer, where available, may be received directly by us, recording only the information needed for payment confirmation and for tax and accounting obligations. We may add, replace, or remove payment partners and payment methods at any time, without prior notice, always maintaining the same standard of security.
